NEW PROGRAMMING TO CONNECT VISITORS TO AMERICAN HISTORY
A Brand-New National Mall Civic Learning Platform – Experience a new digital and on-site program and platform in 2026 that invites visitors to curate tours, learn their civics, dive in to history, discover hidden stories and experience the National Mall like never before as the nation’s greatest living history classroom. Virtual visitors from around the world will enjoy first-of-its-kind access to America’s Front Yard.
Expanded Volunteers-in-Parks Volunteer Corps – We’re working to expand and train a new special corps of volunteers to help NPS Park Rangers welcome, guide and educate visitors for 2026 and beyond.
Beyond Granite 2026 Commemorative Art Exhibition – New iteration of Beyond Granite, the groundbreaking 2023 art exhibition, is being planned for 2026 on the National Mall.

AMERICA’S BALL for THE MALL – May 7, 2025
Thomas Jefferson Memorial Unveiling of New Features – Fall 2025 — ncluding expanded exhibits and new accessibility features
Ken Burns PBS American Revolution Film Premiere on the National Mall – October 29, 2025 —Join filmmaker Ken Burns and PBS for a public screening of highlights from his upcoming film, The American Revolution, marking the culmination of a year-long national tour commemorating the start of the War of Independence and the upcoming 250th anniversary of America’s founding. This special film screening, presented in partnership with the Trust for the National Mall, is scheduled to take place on the National Mall and will be open to the public. The PBS premiere follows on November 16.
